Doesn't look very impressive. Don't like the sets and decorations - looks very cheap.

Maybe you expected too much?  I was expecting very little, so this is a pleasant surprise!  It's hard to see much from those photos, but I like the backdrops, and the lighting and smoke effects in some of the scenes looks quite good.

I like how the stage backdrop continues halfway along the side walls of the theatre though, that's cool...

Oh, and the official show name is still "Winnie the Pooh and Friends, Too", according to the sign outside.

Don't judge the show by a few photos from DLRP.fr...  I've seen videos from the show this week.  It looks very nice, especially thanks to the lighting.

I take it these videos aren't available to view online? :(  I hope you can get us some good photos this weekend anyway, I like how this version of the show is much darker and more mysterious, it actually looks like you're right there in the Hundred Acre Wood.  :D

Well, dlrp.co.uk has a 9-minute video of the show now: http://www.dlrp.thedisneyfamily.com/videos/winnie.wmv

It looks brilliant!  :o  :D Soooo much better than the outdoor version!  Though it looks like guests aren't as involved anymore...

i got to agree i thinh it is fab! although they could have made the sets better and it would be harder for the kids to get up at the frount due to the small space there

Thank you! :D

I really like this show, it's much nicer than the old one.  The proper musical numbers, the changing backdrops, the lighting, the nice narration... definitely the unexpected surprise of 2006!  :)

Thanks for that great video raptor1982.  :D

I am very impressed with the amount of detail which has been put into the theming. I also like the small, yet effective effects which are used in the show.

I am really impressed with this show. Not that it is that great, but as far as I can judge from a video, it seems that the 100 Acre Wood set looks really nice, just like some small effects and some funny songs too. A nice surprise in 2006 indeed.

Just one question; why did they move a show of one of the most popular Disney-characters to a stage that has such a low cappacity? Haven't they learned from their Legend of the Lion King mistake?

I just read somewhere that during shows the Fantasyland Railroad station is closed, and trains run straight from Frontierland to Discoveryland.  Is that true?  I've never heard of it before. :?

The latest Envie de + magazine is now listing the show's Christmas return to run from 16th December 2006 to 7th January 2007, rather than the full length of the Christmas season as previously announced on the official website.
