Quote from: "dagobert"Q, I guess you have read my post and I actually said, that it does look wonderful.

 yeah! that's the point!!!

Quote from: "dagobert"I'm sure you didn't want to sound rude, but "You People" is a little bit disrespectful. At least I was told that during my time in the US, when I also used that phrase. Since you are from Italy, I'm very sure that wasn't your intention. ;)

Oh, you're right, I think it's something racial. On Community (wonderful show) everytime someone says "you people" some black character gets annoyed. But americans tend to be a little, how can I say... sensible on political corectness ^__^'

Quote from: "alka1"Before Cars Land, there were plans to build Carland - a Route 66 themed land that would feature California's car culture with several shows and attractions. Eventually it was decided to add the Pixar Cars characters to the mix, but they soon realized that the land was a mish-mash of too many unrelated characters without a sense of place and time.

With Radiator Springs they had a cohesive story and characters which evoke Route 66, and the opportunity to recreate the same beautiful mountain landscapes that were seen in the movie.

It was decided that Cars Land would be a more cohesive land and more immersive environment for guests.

Thanks for posting. It looks fantastic and it's 100% my kinda ride. It's Disney at their best with wonderful themeing and attention to detail. The Cars films aren't amongst my Pixar favourites  but that doesn't matter, if I had never seen the film I'd still be impressed with the ride. In fact it would be a good way of introducing someone to the film if they hadn't seen it before. Some people may view the ride as little more than synergy toons and lazy, but I think Disney have made good use of their franchise here by the look of it.

I think it's in the same tier as rides like Splash Mountain and PotC with loads of AAs and thill parts. It's great that Diney are still making rides like this, and the technology they're using is amazing. :D

Cars Land looks great! But, where is the point of "Luigi's Flying Tires " atraction? I can't find it or some fun in this... It looks very boring and "no more times" atraction... I am confused...

I really like the fact that they use these classic "King of the Road"-style tracks as background music!

I could imagine the flying tires being replaced by bumper cars in the future. It'll be interesting to see what feedback it gets once it opens to the public on Friday. (That is, if they're not stuck waiting in the ultra-slow queue for so long!)

I don't get why all the hate for Luigi's Flying Tires. I mean, how is this:

better than this:

they're basically bumper cars that actually never bumps in anything. i'm not stating that it's a lame ride, only that they play in the same league.
