Closures for chrismas season
« on: June 24, 2019, 09:04:08 AM »
I'm wondering if anyone has any idea if autopia is likely to be open during the xmas season? Also, I know its not on the site - but when do you think the christmas season will start - 18th November? Does anyone know of any other closures for the winter? Normally, there's loads of closures notices up, but is it possible that they've done more of their refurbishments, so apart from the ones that are closing for good, the rest of the park will be fully open (excluding indiana jones)?

Thanks :-)

Autotopia is due to reopen 20th September as far as I know so it'd have to overrun pretty badly to still be closed then!

Honestly I think the Christmas season will start before the 18th - they take down Halloween and put up Christmas straight away so I'm guessing November 11th. I think it started November 10th last year.

Apart from the permanent closure of RnR I can't think of anything planned to be closed in November although I seem to recall Snow White has regular maintenance around then.

Unless they are long term closures, ie Phantom last year  :( then it's rare to have anything closed, particularly Christmas week going into New Year.  It's such a busy time and come 6th January, everything closes
