I've tried searching and can't seem to find anything up to date! I am coming in July and bringing my 13 year old son and 12 year old nephew. My nephew is a massive fan and has never been before - he particularly loves the princesses! We are staying about an hour away and plan on coming for 2 days during our week in France. We would be arriving early as we will need to go to collect a disability pass for him as he is profoundly deaf.

I'd love to go for at least 1 character meal so he can get some pictures and autographs. I have looked at the dining advice section but there seems to be a fault as the links on the right hand side don't seem to show anything.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated - as well as an idea of costs - thanks in advance

I thought there was a guide to what was available and how much etc. We went 2 years ago and got all the info and decided against it! Instantly thought of cafe mickey when we decided we were taking Jack but have discovered they don't do it anymore ☹. The Disney site itself doesn't allow you to see menus or prices

Try dlptownsquare.com. Restaurant menus, he's added some up to date menus with prices.

For general characters like Mickey, Minnie, Goofy etc then Inventions Character buffet inside the Disneyland Hotel is a good choice but for Princesses, the only option is lunch with the Princesses at Auberge De Cendrillon in Fantasyland.  Both are expensive though and you will need to book on the 60th day before you want to dine as they both get booked up very quickly.

Thanks. The princesses unfortunately don't offer anything I would imagine the boys would eat! And the fact they both would be adults as over 11 makes it an expensive do.

NEVER apologise to DLP Wonders. This person has a very bad negative energy about them. Whether deliberate or not.

The characters will be back at cafe mickey by the time you visit, always had good food and interaction there. The princess meal is very expensive but a fantastic experience especially for a princess fan. The food is pretty fancy and very well presented , although it doesn't look child friendly they are usually happy to tweek a meal if there is something different you fancy. The princesses are lovely when they come round the tables and spend lots of time chatting before moving on

Thanks - I did think it was a bit harsh but I had completely missed the menus!

Oh I thought it must have stopped forever - I did notice that the dates we are going aren't showing for things on the site but I like to try to plan everything early!! Once I'd booked the accommodation I started to get giddy

Id check out inventions too- if your boys are under 12 you'll pay child price but be guaranteed a filling meal. I havent experienced the meals at cafe mickey but was thinking of it for our ne t visit and checked trip advisor. I dont give it too much weight cos i know most people only botger if theyve had a bad experience buy when almost all reviews are bad and saying the same thing it doesnt fill me with confidence.

They'll be 12 and 13 when we go so adult prices ☹. I'll probably see how many other things they ask to do too! The booking info seems to be conflicting too - it says to book 2 months in advance but then I've also read that is for people in the hotels and non guests can only book 3 days in advance!
