The rumours have been true, we will find out about the new Annual Passes tonight at midnight (France time). I found a link, that was immediately taken down, presenting the new 4 APs. I only remember the most expensive one, it will be called Infinity and it will cost €399. I believe it will be the equivalent of the Dream AP.

The magic plus is the true equivalent of the current Dreams pass. Unless you really have to go on the busiest 15 days of the year then it's not much of a difference.

The Infinity pass is a whole new level with the extra perks.

I don't blame them at all for doing this - the APs were very under priced (particularly when you look at the prices of the US versions) and DLP needs to start sorting out its financial situation.

Underpriced if you live near the park and can easily visit for a day.
For people who live further away, who make only 2 or 3 journeys a year, the price was just about right.

Do we know what the blockout dates are yet and what discounts will be offered? I also wonder what will happen to those will passes due to expire, how will they deal with renewals...still 6 months free? Will sponsorship scheme still run?

Magic Plus seems to have 15 days blocked out. These seem to be sometime between Christmas and New Year and also Halloween. Nothing official on the DLP website though.

Thanks. Just watched ED92 and it cleared up a few q's. Magic Flex loses 20 days, magic hours and the Buffalo Bills and restaurant discount, but at only €10 more may still be an option as we usually stay off site anyway and DH will be glad not to have the alarm set for 6am! I await the results of the shareholders meeting to see what the plan is for Salon Mickey...I don't hold out much hope.

I expect that we will lose the shareholder club in its entirety, be required to sell our shares and say goodbye to all discounts and Salon Mickey very shortly.

Passes were certainly not under priced  for us when having to pay for a full family.  US versions are way over priced in my opinion. DLP may need to sort out their finances but for us hiking the prices up is not going to help, we would have to stop going. I can't afford or justify the cost to go to WDW at times so no way could I afford to go to DLP if these prices go up plus it does not have the facilities, attractions or perks to justify the cost they will probably put it up to. I unfortunately have to go at busy times due to my job.

They are expensive but tbh annual passes SHOULD be. They should be for the people who visit multiple times every year (3 times or more). The fact that buying an annual pass was almost the same price as a 4 day park ticket showed how daft the pricing of them was. The fact people going just once were advised to get APs because it often worked out cheaper is quite bonkers and shows you how broken the AP system was. If people were using APs for their one holiday there a year it also shows that they system really wasn't right.

They're still much cheaper than their US equivalent and still represent very good value imo if you visit multiple times.

I work in teaching (private sector so get some extra holidays but...) so I have to visit at the busy times also and if I was going to buy one I'd have to get the more expensive passes. I understand the costs are too high for some but DLP MUST start making money and the AP prices were hurting that.

The price increase is simply a bad call.

Disneybounders and Fangirls make DLP reasonable money but the real money is in the family audience. Which by increasing ticket prices in this way means that it's less likely that families will come back because they can't afford that annual pass any more x 4, plus it's now a more viable option to pay that bit more and go to WDW.

DLP has to make money, but after a year of peeing off people by shutting every ride possible, this is just a kick in the teeth. Sort of "You waited for us to get the park sorted and now we're going to make you pay for it".
