Hi all,

Total newbie here so please forgive my basic questions!

We are staying 22nd to the 25th Feb in the Sequoia Lodge and our deal included "Full board" free, I believe this hotel means we are in the "Plus" category and I can see from website which restaurants this includes.

I'm assuming that this means Breakfast in the Hotel and then we get Vouchers per person for Lunches and Dinner.  Can I check, are the vouchers the same or is lunch worth less than dinner?

I would really appreciate any recommendations on where to go and maybe which for lunch or dinner?

I believe there is a Character dining in the Mickey Cafe included - is that breakfast, lunch or dinner?

Should I book in advance for this time of the year?

Thanks,
KG

Hey

You're right about the vouchers and breakfast. The lunch and diner vouchets are worth the same and can be used on the same restaurants. So you could in theory go to cafe mickey for lunch and diner and eat the same things.
Characters at Cafe mickey are there for breakfast and diner. It is very populair so I recommend to make reservations.

You have a choise between buffets and table service restaurants. I would go to a buffet for lunch and do a (3 course) table service restaurant as diner.

You only get vouchers for every night if your stay. So you will be one lunch and dinner short. But since the vouchers are not dated or specified for lunch or diner you could use a voucher for diner on the first day. And take a packed lunch with you and use you're last voucher for lunch the last day (when you probably have to leave early to go home)

Since you are there on the weekend and there are o lot of people who got the vouchers because of this amazing deal I would definitely recommend to book In advance. You could go to city hall (the guest relationships desk on mainstreet) on your first day and make resorvations their. Or if you really want to be sure you can call the disneyland paris reservation hotline from 60 days in advance.

I never been to 'plus' buffet 'restaurants' but I can definitly recommend the 'standard' agrabah cafe buffet  it has a good atmosphere and good choisr of meditiran food.

For table service I recomend the silver spur for the steak. Annets diner becouse they serve amavzing milkshakes and some waiters are on roller skates. I never been to chez remy but the scenery looks lovely.

Have a great time ;D

Much in the same boat with meal plans - 1 of my children is very fussy and like basic breaded nuggets and fries - which restaurant would do these please ?
Would I need to book for buffets as well as set meals ?

Thanks in anticipation

I think the buffets are the best option  in that case. (Except agrabah cafe!). They al have a kids section with nuggets and fries. Annets diner us an other options. They have a reasonable kids menu and sell burgers and fries. You can find Al menus on dlpguide.com under the plan section.

I would recommend to make reservations for buffets and set meals but it isn't mandatory. I would make reservations  On the first day of your stay in low season and by phone a few weeks before you stay in high season and weekends.
You can't make reservations for annets diner. You just have to show up and wait in a queue.

I have the half board plus option.  I was told that an afternoon snack (hot drink + sweet treat) comes with this but I don't see any mention of it here or a list of participating snack counters.

We are going tomorrow and the children may burst with excitement when we get there!  It's our first trip.

hi, yes you get a voucher when you get to your hotel along with your meal vouchers, it says 'pause gourmande', and you can use these in the afternoon (after 3pm i think) it entitles you to a drink and a sweet treat (i normally get a doughnut and hot choc), there will also be a list of where you can get them as not every restaurant/food outlet do them.
