Has anyone ever done any of the guided park tours?

Did the Disneyland Park Tour when I visited last in September 2014.
It was a fun couple of hours, lots of little anecdotes and points of interest that you wouldn't really spot normally.
Worth the price of admission in my opinion, though it's a fairly long tour, so you may want to consider carefully if your children can handle walking around the park for an hour or 2 without going on any of the rides.
