Can anyone recommend a good restaurant outside of the disney area for 30 something couple?

I'm looking to get a nice meal and I don't want a buffet and lots of kids around me - ideally i'm looking for something special for an anniversary.

Theres lots of adult style restaurants which are not buffets in Disney.

My go to must do restaurant is Blue Lagoon, table service, menu is seafood and Cajun / Louisiana / New Orleans inspired.

Walts on Main Street is another adult table service restaurant in the park

On Christmas Day I ate at Manhattan Restaurant in Hotel New York. This is a fine dining restaurant, small and cosy, I would love to eat from the regular menu here

Thanks for this - I was looking at eating outside of the Disney park at least 1 night for some fine dining.

There is a lovely Italian restaurant called "Prego" in Val d'Europe, lovely food, wine, and cocktails. That's the only one I've eaten in but there are lots in Val d'Europe including ones that have bbq at your table (I think it's Korean). There's bound to be a list somewhere of them all.

At Jossigny, just 5 km or so away from the resort, there is the hotel Cheval Blanc. This hotel has two restaurants: one good bistro with pizza and other italien food and the other restaurant is more like a gourmet temple.
Have a look at Tripadvisor or a site like that for reviews.
But you need a car or a taxi to reach this restaurant.
