I recently attended a Disneyland Paris audition in London and for some weird reason the people there measured me under what I actually am. I got measured at the doctors before and they told me i'm 5"8 but at the auditions they wrote 169cm down on my forum which, according to the internet, is about 5"6.

How can this be and what were they playing at? Has anyone else had this same issue?

Well.. Most of the princesses are between 160 - 170, so maybe they wanted to create more possibilities for you?
And sometimes people just measure you wrong. Could be your doctor, could be Disney. Depends on how you are standing, if it's morning or noon, the measuringdevice and so on.

How did the audition worked out for you?  :)

Thanks for your comment and I am a guy by the way. Well why should Disney measure people wrong? And I know i'm definitely taller than 5"6, i'm 5"8-9. So it's an absolute mystery to me, plus it annoys me a bit because I know that a lot of the decision they make are based on your height so when i'm getting measured wrong and getting cut because of it then it doesn't exactly make it fair would you agree?

And my audition didn't go well at all. I felt I did good but anyway got cut on the animation round. And the first time I went I got cut on the animation round too. Have you auditioned before yourself?

Does anyone know the current heights for the face characters and parade performers?
I was sure I saw them here one day but know I cannot find them anymore?

Please help me, and thank you very much!!!

They will quite often change the heights of people, perhaps they needed someone to play peter pan or something. Just make sure you stand up super tall next time!

I feel I've finally cracked the animation round - be as big as you possibly can, and if you think you're doing it bigger enough, do it bigger. You have to stand out! Which is the complete opposite to the dance, you have to stand out, but show that you're not performing by yourself, they want someone who can look uniform with all of their other cast members!

Here is the height requirements;
