Hi

we are two families staying at dcr at end of september/beginning of october.  Any advice? Do all cabins have BBQ? What do we need to take?  How does breakfast work (we have added half board plus)?

Thank you x

Every cabin has a BBQ.
If you add breakfast to your booking or have vouchers for ist you have to walk to your "breakfast"hut in the morning, pick up the breakfast for your party and enjoy it at your cabin.

Please bring warm clothes as end September/Oktober it can be quite chilly in Paris, so BBQ might be a little cold...
Anyway: enjoy your stay.

Each cabin has a bbq stand, we found it easiest to take a disposable bbq to put on it rather than messing around with charcoal, (also cheaper!) The Alamo trading post on site has a good selection of meat  although it's better to buy the day before or on the morning as we found when we went at 6 pm they had sold out!  Another nice idea is to take a fire log like the ones you can get in home bargains for 99p and put these on on a night time to roast marshmallows over.  Although the weather can be cooler we still sat outside for breakfast every morning  at the picnic table which was lovely.  You'll get a voucher for a little pack of cleaning essentials for your cabin but it's a good idea to take a few extra dishwasher tablets or washing up liquid.  You'll get towels in your cabin but you'll need to take your own for the pool.
Due to the price of things we found it really helpful to take essentials like dilute juice or bottled drinks with us in the car, also snacks like crisps, fruit etc.
Don't fotget if you go for a walk to the shop/pool, especially on a night time you'll have a good chance of seeing some characters having a walk around, we saw Minnie, pluto, goofy and robin hood (haven't seen him anywhere else!) and as it's generally so quiet there won't be any mad scrums.
The pool at davy crockett is lovely, so don't foget to take advantage of that, aswell as the free tennis and table tennis courts.
When you check in you'll be given a voucher for breakfast each morning of your stay.  And each morning you walk to little cabin near yours to collect breakfast, this consists of nutella, juice, tea and coffee sachets, a carton of milk, jam and butter, a croissant, a baguette, and a pot of apple puree.
Given the time of year don't forget torches/light sticks for the kid(s) and have fun looking for creepy crawlies outside on a night time.
You're going to have a great time!
