Since "Tarzan" is closing (for good?)... It made me think. What show could be next and this time suit the theming of Frontierland? Two things came to my mind...

- A Cowboy Stunt Show  =D> aaaaaaaaand
- Woody's Roundup (kind of a musical comedy play based on the funny little TV show within Toy Story 2)

Since there is the language issue which occurs almost everywhere throughout the resort... the stunt show would make more sense... because no one has to talk... at least not much... and they can play with mimics and bodylanguage... it would be also nice to see such a show without revealing how it's done (like Stunt Show Spectecular in WDS), because it would be more magical :) and that's what disney is all about! ain't it?And In my oppinion not every show has to be based on characters we already know... Why not create something original?

My second idea is woody's roundup... Yes it's based on a character we already know... and yes it's PIXAR... But anyway... in my oppinion Woody would be the best character to feature a new show in Frontierland... if you think of other popular disney films (live action, animated, disney or pixar) none of them actually fit the theme (maybe pocahontas, but they've already done that). Tarzan should've been in Adventureland, Lion King too... Mulan? yeah even Mulan. (I know that there is no stage in Adventureland... Maybe they should build one  :P) But the biggest problem with such a show is language. With Woody's Roundup there would be a lot of dialouge... so you have two options. Woody speaks english... Jessie french (Sort of like they did it in Disney Dreams or Animagique) or you have different Showtimes with differnt languages (Playhouse Disney, Stitch Live) which is highly unlikely for such a live show because you need the actors to do it.

If they stick to their concept of staging shows which have nothing to do with the land... i have a third idea :)

ALADDIN!!!  :D/

very popular over at Disney California Adventure... and since it's going to broadway in spring 2014... why not bring it to Paris :)

That's all for now... Share your thoughts and maybe your own ideas ;)

The original plans for the Chaparral Stage was to host a western stunt show but that was cancelled due to the similarities to that and Buffalo Bills in the Village. I say they knock it down and start construction on Splash Mountain    !

We second that, what a great idea   . Booked to see Dare to Dream this winter but would rather see a Tangled show at DLRP  :D/

I don't think they can have Splash Mountain unless they heated the water to stop it freezing in the winter, but there is plenty of empty space in Frontierland behind the cowboy cookout, on the right as you walk to the Frontierland Station, to build a new attraction without demolishing the Chaparral theatre, it only gets used at Christmas for Santa.

I would love to see a new show at DLP in the theatre, at WDW the shows are part of what makes the parks more special and not just about the rides, they have invested a lot in Dreams, but at the expense of a lot of other things.  I love the idea of the Toy Story; Woody's Roundup show and think they could cope with the mixed languages.
