Best time to book for Christmas

We only got back from our first trip to Disneyland last week and have not stopped talking about going back.  :)

Please can somebody tell me when the best time is to book for Christmas? Do the deals change in October?

We had the free half board plan when we went last week but I have noticed that if I put in the dates for between Christmas and new year it comes up with a free night/free day. Are they likely to change it back to the free half board at any point?

We need to save a few pennies first before booking again so I am hoping to get the best deal.

Many thanks  :)

Even though there are sometimes Half Board offer on over Christmas/ New Year there tend to be exclusions on Christmas Eve and NY Eve when prices are highly inflated and gala dinners are available. We stay off site so eat at home but have seen massive queues at counter service during this period. Unless you really want to be there for the big day itself my advice would to be to visit mid Dec when you are more likely to get a better price or deal, the crowds will be less and everything will still be in full swing! It is magical tho'!

Thank you  :) I think we would probably want to go around Christmas and not be there for the actual day itself. I might look at alternative dates. I think it would be a case of going when we can get the time off work/ school etc

For the last few years the 30 percent off and free half board has come back end September for the winter season

Yeah currently it's the free days and nights if you book before Oct 2nd. I suspect after that it'll be percentage off so I'm waiting for that since I want a shorter break to enjoy Christmas before the schools all break up.
