Hi everyone, I've just joined the forum and excited to read more about DLP!  It will be my first time and I am super excited to say the least.  I'm in the planning stage and not sure whether to fly or use Eurostar.  We are looking at December.  I'll do another post about whether to go at beginning of Dec or week after Christmas.

I love 20 mins from an airport but not sure about the transfer when we get there?  Or do I stay in London the night before and use Eurostar?  My children will be 8 and 2.

Although the Eurostar is slightly more expensive, once you include parking at the airport and transfers there isn't that much in it, to be honest. Even if you only go to Gare du Nord station, it's only like 8 Euro per person for the train to DLP.

I paid maybe £10 more for the Eurostar into Lille and transfers than I would have to fly. For the convenience alone it's worth it (the the train station is practically in DLP!).

Eurostar is sooooo easy and you get off at the gates to disney. Highly recommend it.

we used to always fly into CDG but after our first time on Eurostar we haven't looked back.
we are from the north east of Scotland and travel to London by train the day before we are due at DLP. 
It's a very relaxed way of getting to DLP, both traveling to London then next morning Eurostar straight to the park.
I recommend the Eurostar to all my family and friends as it's stress free.

If I lived closer to any of the stations, I'd pick Eurostar. It's much less of a faff, don't need to get there hours early, no limit on weight - just size. Even with a change in lille the train gets you right to the parks, when flying you then also have to get transport to the parks. Comfort is a slight issue at busy times but fine otherwise, And you get Wi-Fi in the channel.

Eurostar all the way.  If you can the direct train is the best. Once on board, relax and before you know it you've landed at the door to Disney. If you do decide to use the train and are staying at a Disney Hotel have a look into the Disney Express service. You will be given your park tickets on the train, You can leave you cases at the station and head straight to the parks, you cases are then taken straight to your hotel. Saves fighting with the busses and check-in queues.

It's a no brainer for me as I'm so close to an airport - I always fly.

Check in online - 20 mins drive to airport - Quick breakfast in Frankie and Bennys - 50 min flight - 10min TGV to Disney Village or a 40 min shuttle.

Plus I get really travel sick on trains so it wouldn't be much fun for everyone else

Another vote for Eurostar. I'm lucky enough to live in Ashford so literally go into town and get on a train but it really is far simpler than flying and the Express service is well worth the money to maximise your time in the parks and the ease of transit.
