I was just wondering what time the characters leave the restaurants during the day?  We go in March and have booked Café Mickey and ADC for 2pm, however a colleague mentioned that she thinks characters leave at 2.45pm...if so, I'd change to 1pm as that's the main (only!) reason for choosing those restaurants.  Any advice much appreciated.

The characters come out in stages and wander around the tables greeting guests, doing autographs and photos . So you may have 2 characters out at a time. Then they swap.
During a meal they may apear twice as new people are seated. But they wont revisit your table (well, not often) we had Goofy pop by to try and feed my son once....
Cant say about them leaving atc2.45 though. sorry

If you book a character meal, you have booked a character meal 

They don't leave between certain hours.  They are there when the restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
