Booking for the German or French site, any benefit if you don't have kids?

I've seen people saving money if they have under 12's. Is there likely to be any benefit? Looking at £1500 for 2 adults, staying in DLH from jan 17th for 7 nights with half board premium, flying from Gatwick. Thanks
