Hiya all,

A friend of mine goes in two weeks and has been asking me for advice and just asked me about the place to eat for vegetarians- She is one ( obviously ) but I have told her she should just stop being awkward instead  ;D

Anyone got any recommendations? She would be looking at the cheaper places to eat really if possible

I think most of the restaurants have at least one vegetarian option.

If she looks at menu's on the DLP guide she will be able to have a look before she goes.

I am vegetarian and was there 4 days last year. All of the places I ate had veggie options, the best I had was in Planet Hollywood, they had a few options and I had their veggie fajitas which were great. We ate at Plaza Gardens Buffett within the Park too and they had lots of selection for vegetarians!

I'm a vegetarian!!

The veggie burger at Annette's Diner was fantastic as were the veggie burger options at Hyperion Cafe and Au Chalet de la Marionnette... There's also cheese pizza at Bella Notte or you can have pasta with tomato sauce if you prefer!

I'm sure your friend will not have a problem finding something in whatever restaurants you go to :)

Puffin

I think the buffets would be the safest choice, at the other table service restaurants there might be only one true vegetarian option on the menu.

Is she full on veggie or does she eat fish?

I ask because King Ludwigs do an awesome fish risotto, but Rainforest Café do an amazing veggier burger. Both are fairly reasonable as far as eating at Disney goes.

All of the buffet and table service restaurants have enough vegetarian options.

The counter service places are not as good and in several cases the only option for vegetarians is a salad.

Yes, the green leaf for "suggested for vegetarians" is lacking in lots of menus.
I have read that in counter service places that don't have the veggie burger option you can still order one. I have not been so can't verify.
