Hi there,

I was just wondering what time the rides are open till in the parks? Do they shut when the parade begins or do they stay open till the fireworks start?

that depends on the lands.

The parades are usually between 3pm and 5pm and the parade route is through Main Street USA. There are no rides on the parade route so nothing closes during the parades.

Dreams is the main night time fireworks and animations show projected onto The Castle. It happens every night at park closing time. The fireworks are located behind The Castle, in Fantasyland so they usually close Fantasyland rides such as Snow White, Pinochio  and the Carousel as well as the shops and The Castle around 1 hour before park closing.

All other rides stay open until park closing time

when the park closes at 8pm the rides in Adentureland, Frontierland and Discoveryland close at 8pm

when the park closes at 10pm the rides in  Adventureland, Frontierland and Discoveryland close at 10pm

Additionally, Casey Jr.: le Petit Train du Cirque and Le Pays des Contes des Fées close at sunset, if that's earlier. And Adventure Isle, La Cabane des Robinson, and Plage des Pirates close earlier than the rest of Adventureland. It can sometimes be difficult to get to Pirates of the Caribbean with less than an hour to closing.

It's quite unlike, for example, the Merlin theme parks in the UK which usually close around dinnertime and many of the rides stop taking new riders prior to that.

Autopia often opens late and closes early as well.
