UPDATE

The TGV tickets opened up for my days of travel but when I checked the times, it wouldn't work with my flights. So I have now booked http://magicalshuttle.co.uk/ Im still getting to the parks alot earlier than previous times, I should be checking into the hotel around 12pm. I'm not expecting my room to be ready that early, so I will just check in, get my park tickets and leave my luggage in the luggage room at the hotel.

woop wooo its 2016, 7 weeks to go. I have now paid in full. I paid online but the confirmation email took over 24 hours to arrive and the payment did not appear instantly on my credit card. I started panicking that something had gone wrong, but 2 days after I did the online payment, everything is fine, Disney is on my online credit card statement and I got the confirmation email

I have also done some ADR. Its probably not necessary as I will be there end of February but it helps me structure my day. I have booked Restaurant des Stars in the Studios for my first day and Blue Lagoon for my second day. My third day I plan to go to Planet Hollywood.

oooh not long now for you hmmm thats something I never thought of but I'm such a planner I like to have everything booked.

The ADR was painful this time, I got a guy who didnt understand my Irish accent and I had to spell my name letter by letter using the phonetic alphabet.... R for Romeo E for Echo......

That's good to know for future thanks. I booked for Mid march via magic breaks. Got a good deal after asking the operator nicely if she can knock some more money off. She took £75 just cuz I asked. Couldn't do that if booked solely on line.

OMGGGGGGG SQUEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLL

I just had to post another update. Today I got a phone call from Disney offering me an upgrade to Disneyland Hotel!!!!

I asked the price and had a moment of madness and just said yes. I never ever thought I would get the chance to stay at Disneyland Hotel. This has just made my trip even more special. I had booked this trip as a Happy Birthday to me, as my 40th birthday is in March and I just wanted to do something for me. Now, staying in Disneyland Hotel, its made this trip a trip to remember

Honestly, I dont mind that I will be just in a standard room, or if the room has a crap view, just the whole point of staying in the Disney Hotel means so much to me

I originally got my package on a 35% discount offer on the French website. This upgrade is basically around the same amount of money as the 35% discount. So  I have a 2 night 3 park standard room package at Disneyland Hotel for the same price as a 2 night 3 park standard room package at Hotel New York!!
