Hello, it's my friends birthday when we go to Disneyland and I emailed the Disney special activities department who say that I'm to tell them what I want and they will look into my request and come up with a tailor made package of what they can offer...

I don't even know what to suggest! Can anyone help me please?

Um...that depends on your budget. Special attention like that exceeds most normal wishes like balloons etc. I'm pretty sure that the department you have contacted deals mainly with celebs or wealthy visitors. Of course if you are either of those i would be delighted to come along with you and show you around

Haha I wish! I emailed Newport bay originally but they passed it on to that department. They've centralised all requests nowadays rather than each hotel dealing with these sorts of requests themselves.

It's a pain as they wont give suggestions, they just ask for you to tell them your budget and what you want

Some people talked about this recently on Tripadvisor. One of them got "5 frozen balloons, as well as some macaroons and frozen cake type things" for 50 euro and another had "a box of 14 mexican dark and milk chocolates made by the French Chef Pierre Hermé" also for 50 euro.

You know your friend best but for our daughters 21st we chose one day that was her special day and did the princess meal, told all the cm and characters and they made a real fuss of her. She also "ran the day"  we rode the rides she wanted and got to choose a special aribas nemo from the glass shop in the castle. It doesnt have to cost that much your friend will appreciate her time with her very thoughtful friend so take lots of photos and make a photobook when you come home. Have a great time.

Thank you both i think i may just put a couple of banners etc up myself as €50 is alot for some chocolates, balloons etc! Will have to be super nifty whilst she's asleep! Xx

I watched a YouTube visa while back and someone took beautiful handmade cupcakes (all Disney) and left them in table with balloons wich was a lovely gesture! I'd do something like that? And like above a character meal woud be great and they usually sing happy birthday if you tell a cast member that'd surprise her.

Great idea to to the surprise by yourself during her sleep. After all you can than spend these EUR 50 for a Disney present that she chooses.

I also decided to take Christmas decoration with me in the luggage for our trip in winter. I are staying in Sequoia Lodge.
