We're considering Hotel New York this time. Can anyone tell me how long it ACTUALLY takes to walk from the hotel to the parks? It's hard to judge from maps/pictures.TIA

I'm in the process of booking our next trip. Last time we stayed in DLH and loved it. The location is just fantastic, especially when you have small children. We're considering Hotel New Yourk this time. Can anyone tell me how long it ACTUALLY takes to walk from the hotel to the park. It's hard to judge from maps/pictures.. TIA

I was in DLP last week and stayed at Sequoia Lodge. Hotel New York is the first hotel on the far side of the village. It took me about 10 minutes to walk from the Park entrance/ Disneyland Hotel to Hotel New York. That was when I was on my own. I would say with children it would take maybe a bit longer.  You can also get a shuttle bus from the side of the train station but this still takes around the same time.
