We're taking my 2 children (4 & 5) in August and want to watch the fireworks one evening.

Can anyone recommend where to book at table and what time to book for so we can watch the fireworks?

Are Walts and Blue Lagoon the only options?

Thanks.

i haven't been in the summer for a couple of years but I seem to recall the night show is around 10pm. I presume with a 4&5 year old you'll be eating much earlier than this anyway.

Not quite sure what you're asking in your second question- there are lots of restaurants you can pre book tables at but yes the main park ones are limited if you specifically want table service. There are many other options and you can come back to the park to watch the show.

Thanks for the reply.

With the kids we will eat earlier but if we decide to do a table service and firework show we would eat a snack then have a late tea and watch the fireworks.

I was under the impression that Walts/Blue Lagoon were the ones where you would get a good view of the show but I may be wrong.

Hey

Unfortunately there any aren't any restaurants in the park with a view of the fireworks show.
Mabey inventions or Californian grill in the disneyland hotel. But I never been there so I don't know if the view is any good. And they are very expensive.

Walts has a good view of the daily parade if you ask for a window seat and time it right.

Slimy yet satisfying

Walts is at the centre of main  st and whilst great for watching a parade will not overlook the castle at all. Blue Lagoon is entirely inside the Pirates af the Caribbean ride and has no views except of the boats, it also may still be closed in August due to ride refurb.

Thanks all, looks like we'll get tea and then find a spot nice and early to get a good view of the fireworks.

It will be the first time the children will have seen them so we want it to be special. Probably best for another board but if anyone has viewing recommendations then feel free to let me know :D

Just go in front of the castle about 20 minutes before and you will be fine.

You can see the fireworks display from the California Grill but are quite far away and won't pick up the detail of the illuminations projected onto the castle or hear the music as well. its a nice touch to see it while having a meal there but it is expensive unless your already planning on paying for premium meal vouchers this is def a good choice to maximise value for money on them as the half board vouchers is what approx 40-50pds now? a 3 course meal a la carte in there would set you back about 100 euros pp at least from memory of the menu prices.

does plaza gardens not have outside dining any more or is that closed off at night? I've only been in winter months myself so Never considered that as an option.

agrabah cafe is suggested as the closest to a firework entrance point I believe
