Just looked on the app of the Disney parks, heading there monday!
And saw that in the last few days there has been problems with the POTC ride, anyone know anything?
Searched online everywhere for news but can't find anything.

Might just be a technical problem. It was happening once or twice when I went 15/02/2016-19/02/2016.

If it is a technical glitch I guess its a good thing that its due for some TLC later in the year. Although I'm still not sold on them adding Cap'n Jack.

I was there this past week and it was down on Thursday. We were eating in Blue Lagoon when the ride broke down. They resolved it pretty quick though and it was open again after a couple of hours.

All in all it wasn't a big deal - just double check the app before you walk over there if your at the opposite end of the park.

I would hate to be stuck on a ride on an empty stomach. Has that ever happened to anyone, I wonder?

How awkward would it be to break down next to the restaurant haha, people watching you while eating their meals or vice versa.. You just sat there like "so where do I look..." Haha

That literally happened! It was odd because I was focusing on eating then suddenly thought I swear thats the same boat as last time The emergency lighting went on and they sent round empty boats to get everyone off. It was shut still once we'd left an hour later.
