We go on Sunday 10th April but because we run a pub, I have to be up at 4am to put the Sunday roasts in the oven and finish whats left of the veg prep and yorkshire pud mix etc..... then leave it up to family & staff to run while we're away. The plan is to leave home at 8am and get to DLP by mid afternoon (don't want to drive too fast, our beast isn't too hot on mpg's when pushed)

14 sleeps to go, 14 sleeps to go, Hallo Mickey, Bonjour Minnie, 14 sleeps to go

My little boy is gonna hit the roof when he finds out.  Don't know whether to tell him the night before as I am tucking him in, or just let him find out when we get to St Pancras International.  He is 3, and so conceivably could be unmanageable in both instances.  What do you guys think???

Not the night before, he'll never sleep. Tired kids and long journies dont mix.

I find a double shot of Scots Whiskey makes a good substitute  8)
