111 sleeps to go but that's not the worst thing!! I wasn't going to tell my nearly 3yr old until the night before we go as I really wanted his first holiday to be a surprise but his big mouthed spiteful 15 yr old half sister opened her mouth the day after I booked it before she went to live with her mum and has now ruined it for him. Everyday he asks if he is going to Mickey's House tomorrow and every day I have to tell him he has to wait a bit longer. I just hopes that when it comes to the day before going that the magic is not lost on him :0(

 gemma i am sure the magic is by no means lost for your son. my dd is obsessed with birthday and as she turns 4 while we are in dlp next week we had to explain some time ago that she wasnt having a birthday party this year and she would be going to dlp instead.  it has been a long wait for her but the other day she realised it was only 4 days to go and she is super excited now. it was like she'd just found out she was going for the first time x

Thanks nicnak for the reassurance, to be fair i'm more hurt by how he was told than he will be. He'll just be excited to be going! Have a wonderful time and I hope your dd has a fantastic birthday in DLP!! x
