Quote from: "Baloo"I've just never come across anyone who enjoyed Toon Circus so much.

I just thought it was entertaining for what it was. Nothing more nothing less.

And I don't think it deserves all the bashing (but hey, that's what so many folks on any internet discussion board enjoy to do, right?).
(For it was more entertaining and a lot fresher than the oh-so-tired and lame Wonderful World of Disney Parade that is making its sad run each and every day...)

I watch the parade on the first and last days only.
THen I skip them while my lil sis watches, I get to ride with slightly decreased q's.
I love the nightime shows, they really top off my day in the park.
I hated toon circus! This year I want to get some pictures of dlrp plain and with everything running.

It's been absolutely boiling even here in manchester, it must have been horrible down in Paris, especially with all those other people.

How was the late night opening on Saturday?  Did they have fireworks?  Were there a lot of people around?

Queues at 21h and 22h for the major rides were still long.  And ofcourse fireworks (which will now be performed on every late night opening).

QuoteDLRP has been extremely busy past weeks. According to several sources, last four weekends have had on average nearly 70.000 guests (usually up to 40.000).

A good news is that weekdays have been busy too and 70.000 figure has been exceeded on some days (usually weekday rate stays at 30.000 or less in June). At least once the park limit was reached and that means 75.000-80.000 guests. If weather stays as nice as it has been, the situation will remain.

There's been 200min lines for Space Mountain II and other e-tickets. Even WDS was packed. Hotels occupancy rate has been over 90%.

So, June is ahead of expectations and EDL s.c.a. 3rd quarter results could make a record.. but is it good enough to compensate the first half loss? That we must wait and see till end of July when 3rd quarter revenues are announced.

My sister and her family was in DLP from Thursday till Sunday. They said it was very crowded very long waiting times. And a lot of closed attractions and a lot of technical problems. So sounds like a good time for DLP he ?! Only one thing confused me. she told me that one day fireworks were announced for the DL Park. It should start at 23 h. But the park closed at 22h so they could only stay in the Main Street. Is that right ? no attractions open for one hour ?

It could be... they'd make a lot of money in the Main Street shops!  Someone else will have to confirm they actually do this though...

Imagine what chaos that would cause?  Maybe the gates closed at 22h.  Other attractions were always open when the park was open until 23h.

The picture is fantastic, raptor! Have you taken it? Or is it a photo assembly (Fotomontage?!)--a fake I mean *g*

Oh no, does that mean that the park is so crowded in June? :( Coz we've planned to visit DLRP next year in May or June (depends on the opening of the Toon Studios).
Surely not on a Saturday, but maybe on a Sunday/Monday. Do the French kids have holidays at the beginning (/first week) of June?

It's a real one   .  It's taken with a long shutter speed, which makes the fireworks look like lines.

I don't think so.  But the weather is perfect for a themepark visit and DLRP sold quite a lot tickets for a reduced price.  They expected to sell 80.000 tickets, but sold 200.000
