(And I just have to say it: I want MSEP back in Paris!!)

This is making me itchy to see MSEP in Paris again too... What ever happened to "our" version? It obviously didn't go to Hong Kong, or did it? It doesn't ever seem to have been spotted backstage since 2003.

If nothing else, I would actually love that Tinkerbell float to be added to Fantillusion as part of a "More Lights! More Magic!" redo a la MSEP 1998...

Mark Twain catches on fire

The Mark Twain, a replica steamboat that cruises the River of America at Disneyland, reportedly caught on fire during yesterday's showing of Fantasmic!, a nighttime show that uses the Mark Twain as a show element.

The small fire aboard the Mark Twain was apparently caused by faulty pyrotechnic effects, which failed to deploy at the proper time and ignited the exhaust emanating from the engine, according to a statement released by Disneyland's Public Relations Department.

Fortunately, the Disneyland Fire Department quickly controlled the small blaze and reported no damage. They noted that such a small fire would typically extinguish itself.

The new Fantasmic! is definitely cursed. Jetsom is the only one which hasn't had a problem yet!

I'm very much looking forward to the Dragon, rumours suggest it could be fixed within the next few weeks.

The Dragon's head broke again a few days ago during the rehearsals . Unlucky disney !!!

Oh dear!! I had wondered if they'd managed to fix him yet! Is Fantasmic an all-year-round thing at DLA or just for the summer season? If it's the latter at this rate they won't get to unveil him at all!  :shock:

It'll be running just at weekends after the summer season.

That'll give them more time to work on. I think by the end of October he'll ok to go.

I want to see Murphy, its been months since it should have debuted.

The dragon comes out Monday.  The media will be invited to a early morning performance where they will then hype up the dragon the entire day before he debuts that night.

Wow, that looks fantastic, it's just a shame that...

Murphy the Dragon's  press event this morning was cancelled. This isn't just a ploy to be sensitive to the wildfires, it's another round of legit technical problems. Murphy will NOT appear at tonight's performance, and there is no current ETA for when he will.
