The nighttime water spectacular for DCA looks good - that's one concept I think could fit in WDS over the back of Toon Studio quite nicely.  Well, that and Toy Story Mania and Monsters Inc Ride & Go Seek.

It's quite a significant thing they chose to release a full page of unseen concept art like this, it's the final bit of proof that they care once again about the parks... oh, and it gets people to actually read the report.

A few comments;

*Carland seems like the right combination of Test Track and Cars. Besides that, I think that another Pixar character won't help DCA's California theme. Thematically the entire park doesn't make any sense anymore, but Carland seems fine.
*From time to time, the urban entertainment center reminds of a particular structure.
*The Pirates area for Hong Kong Disneyland was rumoured for a while now, and it seems to me like a great addition. If done right, it could even defeat our Pirates version. I heard a rumour that in this area a few years later, a new version of the Haunted Mansion might open including an original storyline to fit in with the Pirate theme. Some sort of Thunder Mesa for HKDL then?  8)
*The concept art for Monsters Inc Hide and Seek impresses me more then the one of Midway Mania.

The toy Story Mid Way Mania just looks like the buzz attraction with a different overlay, and not even from a different film. Or am I missing something???

You wear 3D glasses and pass by a number of scenes themed to various carnival games, all with a Toy Story touch.  Imagine a cross between IOA's Spiderman and Disney's Astro Blasters.

Actually, I see what they're trying to do with DCA now - it's a bit like how HK's Small World will feature Disney characters relating to each country.  This is California seen from a Disney perspective - 3D Toy Story midway games rather than normal boring ones, a Cars test track to celebrate Route 66, Brother Bear for the mountains, Disney animation for Hollywood, Bugs Life for the agricultural area.  It really will be Disney's California Adventure, if you see what I mean.

The only thing that park is missing is an Incredibles attraction, unless they want to start on the Pixar Shorts too...

In regards to  'The Incredibles', I read somewhere and saw some concept art for what they plan to do with DL's Defunct PeopleMover lines.

The idea was/is that they were going to install egg shaped vehicles similar to the egg monorail type thing that is on the Island in 'The Incredibles.'

I think it would add a kind of funky 'retro 50's/60s' feel, which is maybe the direction Tomorrowland should take?

This turns out to be a Pirates themed resort to be build somewhere around the world.

Extract from a Wall Street Journal article with Jay Rasulo:

QuoteAn alternative is building a resort around an attraction like an indoor water-park or a theme like pirates or princesses. Another approach is building a family version of a casino, without the gambling.

hmm i think that would best fit in TDS as a land rather than a Park

I have read that the ride "Toy story mania" is actually in construction in the Disney MGM Studios near the "who wants to be a millionaire" attraction(//http://www.mgmstudios.org/midway.html).The new night time water show could come to Tokyo Disney Sea and the pirate land would  be a good extension for it.

Hello Sigton!!  Welcome to our boards, I believe you are our first visitor from Japan!

Toy Story Mania is currently under construction at both Disney-MGM Studios (the old Millionaire structure) and at Disney California Adventure Park on Paradise Pier.
