We are due to visit disneyland xmas 2017
however i wanted to ask the best budget friendly way to do food/drink?
we have 3 nights and 1 night we are going to the Buffalow bill show which comes with food.
What are the best drink options for the park? do they do refillable for example? how much?
food wise where can i get a good breakfast from? we are staying at sante fe it doesnt include breakfast sadly, tho last time we found their breakfast a little naff anyway - please advise if there is a good food/drink plan for breakfast etc...

Breakfast mcds or earl of sandwich in the village
Lunch same as above or the relay in the train station (can buy in the am and take into the park to eat later)
Teatime a buffet option is best. Plaza gardens for example. May seem pricey but if its cold you may want one hot food inside option to sit down and warm up. Plus you can really fill up after a long day.
Some people prefer to eat a bigger lunch then snack later on. I dont like wandering around or going on rides with a full tummy.
No refillables available in the park but there are water fountains and lots of people take plastic bottles and Robinsons squash pouches to refill them free during the day.

I haven't done the math but I think you can save a little bit by buying a meal plan if you want to eat at buffet restaurants.
The voucher is always worth less than the buffet menu compared to showing up and paying the full price. Since the meal plans are just a way to pre-pay your meals, you may be saving a bit doing this but, then again, I haven't done the math comparing what one pays for the meals and stay without meal plan and with meal plan. Also the vouchers can be used at face value to help pay for the BB show.

I've only stayed once before and we didn't go with a meal plan. However for our trip next week I estimated that eating at the cheaper buffets/restaurants would be about the same price as the Standard Meal Plan so I've booked that.

We don't put a great deal of value on the hotel breakfast offering either but as you get that as part of the meal plans now I think it makes them more favourable.

If you go without a meal plan there are some options in the Disney Village which may work out cheaper (Annette's Diner/Vapiano) but if you are eating at park buffets then a Standard Meal Plan may work out better for you.

There's also a Starbucks at the Santa Fe now which is a good breakfast option. Last time I was staying at the Cheyenne we used the one over there for breakfast every day - decent coffee is a must and the Starbucks offerings are MUCH better than what you get in the parks!

Hello!

We find Vapianos to be really good value with big portions and not too expensive, we also eat at some of the quick service places as our main meal at lunch time. The barbecue place in frontier land by the theatre is also good value (imo) with big portions, might be called Cowboy Cookout?
