Hi there,

Since our last trip, my 11 year old has decided he wants to be vegetarian.  This obviously won't be a problem at the buffets and he does eat fish so some of the counter service places have a fish option for the kids menus but I'm wondering if anybody knows if they will offer an alternative at places such as Cowboy Cookout and Cafe Hyperion?  Cafe Hyperion does a veggie burger for adults but no mention of one for children.

Any experiences with vegetarian kids in DLP much appreciated!  x

I think Cowboy Cookout has a veggie burger on the a la carte menu but there's not one included as part of the children's menu. I assume the kids burgers are smaller so it's not possible to just substitute them.

Haha!  Thank you!  He just announced it one day and when I asked him why, he said that it was "healthier, better for the environment and he really loves animals!"  Apparently, he'd found this stuff out from his science books and something in a documentary he'd watched.  Nobody else in the house is a veggie but I fully respect and support his choice.  I'm actually pretty proud of him and the fact that he knew I would support his choice before he even told me made me feel as if I must be doing something right.

Yeah, I thought the same.  I might email Disney and ask them.
