Even small children can ride Pirates. Of course it depends on the child whether they will like it or not. It's a dark ride, with two drops, nothing too scary, but you know your children best. It's really worth it riding it at least once to experience it after its refurbishment.

Big thunder mountain has been closed the last 2 times I've been (and the time before that when it was open was my first ever trip to DLP) so mega excited to get back on my favourite ride

Really excited to see the new pirates ride too and just seeing the whole place after all the renovation work they've done
