Hi, you know the new Darth Vader meet near Star Tours, well I've seen on vlogs that Vader talks to guests but does anybody know whether or not what he says is just a series of recorded messages or is it a CM with some kind of voice changer mask on?  Do you know what I mean?   Like, is it the CM actually talking and it just comes out sounding like Vader or does the CM not talk, and it's just different recorded phrases that are played from the mask?  My son wants to go in his Jedi gear and have a bit of banter with Vader but if it's just recorded messages then he won't be able to do that and I don't want him to have a certain expectation that might not be met.

Weve visited twice and on neither occasion did vader speak. He just points and acts menacing

As far as I know they're pre-recorded phrases but the guy seems pretty good at interacting and using the phrases he has.

You can see a video of the M&G here. There's French and English ones so I guess the cast members let him know which language to run.

Ooh that's odd!  Cos he definitely speaks on the vlogs I've seen and Claire (above) seems to have seen it too.  Maybe it depends on the equipment they've got available on that day and whether or not it's working? 

Can anybody else shed any light on it?

I've met him twice now and the second time I was wearing a birthdaybadge and I must have heard all available sentences..... he kept talking, making me promise to join him, not to betray him, obey him and much more. I'm 6'3/190 cm but still felt quite small!
