Hi

I'm booking to go DLP next year and am lookin at offsite accommodations. I've always stayed onsite and will be again in October 2017 for the Halloween season but before this I'm going to stay offsite to save myself some money! My question is:

What's the best hotel in terms of close as to the parks (must have a bus service as I'll be going by Eurostar), price and be at least half decent!

I'm looking at the Kyriad at the mo so any recommendations will be much appreciated! tia xx

Hi,

I've stayed at the Kyriad a couple of times (2013 & 2014). I would recommend it for the cost as long as you are prepared for the following things:

There is no Disney theme, breakfast can be busy (but if you have stayed onsite, then you know this happens there too), the rooms are quite small and both times we stayed you could see black mold behind the wardrobes.

Despite these things, it was fine and I would consider staying there again.

There is a shuttle to/from the parks. There is also an accessible shuttle available if you have a wheelchair user in your party.

From what I remember, the food at breakfast was ok and there is a bar too. There is also a small area with games for children. The staff were friendly enough and spoke French and English.

I've stayed at the Kyriad which as CitrusZing said it a very reasonable price and reasonable quality. As long as you are prepared for things to be basic, it is a perfectly good hotel. There are also shuttles regularly to and from the park and breakfast is of a good standard.

I've also stayed at the Magic Circus which again is more pricey than Kyriad, but is more themed. But again, has the same things as Kyriad, basic rooms, good breakfast and shuttles available.

Brilliant! Thanks for your replays, I think the Kyriad it is!! I'm happy to go basis as I'll be spending more time in the parks than in my room!! (I can already feel my feet aching!)

The new B&B hotel and explorer are both good partner hotels. Breakfast bit basic at B&B but ok rooms nice and clean and spacious there are some very good deals about for it on booking.com. Explorere breakfast better and rooms good.
