Those posters are pants, was hoping for something to make it look epic. Those posters make it look more like a drama.

Mm, Jake looks so much better than I expected he would.

I'm not holding out much hope for this film as a whole, but at least Jake looks good. :lol:

We don't really learn anything new from this, but it's good to know Johnny Depp won't be making a cameo

Although I think the guy playing the lead needs to do a bit of work on the script though,

It comes out in the US, and certain parts of Europe in May.

It looks stunning though. What accent is Jake going for? He sounds somehow British.

I had a great night watching this one!
Not too much story to it, not to much action, a little bit of love and it's just a great action movie in a Aladdin like scenery :thumbs:
Maybe not the best movie ever, but surely a nice add to the Disney vault

I have already posted a little review in the "Videopolis - The last movie you have watched" thread.

In my opinion it is not a good movie and it is one of the weakest Jerry Bruckheimer movies. The story is lame, but the movie has some great scenes.

At first I wasn't very happy with Jake Gyllenhaal playing the lead role, he did a great job.

Looking at the box office in the US, it looks like the movie will not do well. So there will be no new franchise like Pirates for Disney.

Hopefully the other JB movie this year, The Sorcerer's Apprentice, will be better.

Loved this movie! It hasn't much body story wise, but this is great entertainment. Jake is an excellent prince. Don't understand why this is doing poorly in the box office. I'm starting to get realy annoyed by that green ogre called Shrek... please let this be the final one.
