Hi we are travelling to Disneyland at the end of July and we found out that it is cheaper for us to get the annual pass. I ran Disney and the only way I can buy them is either the french phone number which only speak french or online which is in french.
I have gotten to the screenshot attached which has 3 options the only one that would translate was the 3rd one which I think says I can print a temporary one and collect when I visit the park.

Is this correct in what it says. I appreciate that this probably has been answered already but it is jumbled in 130 something pages. Is this even possible to do considering I am from Ireland.

I forgot to mention I am looking for 4 of the classic passes for €135 each

The first one is about paying the AP in monthly installments and getting the AP sent to your home;
the second one is about paying it right away and getting the AP sent to your home;
the third one you translated correctly.

So for the first and second option you send all the papers and a photograph and they send you the final AP to your home address.

If you want to get the 10% discount other AP-holders can give you, you cannot order them via mail. In that case you could by "regular" tickets for your first day visit (so you don't have to queue) and then buy the AP's directly from the BPA (where the amount paid for the tickets will be deducted). That saves you over €50 (provided you have not had AP's for the last 2 years). When exactly is your first day?

MichaelOS

What do you mean by "get the 10% discount other AP-holders can give you". Also I don't understand about buying directly from the BPA? Could you explain please? I thought with the classic pass you have to wait 3 days to use them. We will be flying over on the 26th of july and staying for 4 days.

A&S&O

Why do you want to buy passes before you travel? If its so that you can get Magic Hours on your first day, then fair enough, buy before you go from Disney.

As NCC1701Q has said, you can buy an ordinary day ticket (won't let you in for MH - Do you get MH with Classic passes?) and then upgrade to an AP in the park. You can get a 10% discount by being sponsored.

You can also buy APs from third party websites which often work out cheaper, although I'm not sure if you can get Classic Passes.

If you are buying passes for children, you may be financially better off by buying Fantasy Passes for you whole party from third party sites, as they sell heavily discounted passes for children.

What country are you in? The third party sites we know are based in the UK.

I dont really care about the extra magical hours as they are not included in  the classic pass either. The problem is that if I buy the classic pass when I arrive you have to wait 3 days before you can use the pass in the park.

I could buy the fantasy passes instead which allow you access straight away but they are €180 from the disney website which works out more expensive than buying the normal ticket. What website can I buy the pass from that you mentioned that was in the uk as I live in Ireland.

NCC1701Q

Michael,

I'm sorry for not reading your post carefully. Indeed - with Classic AP's you cannot use them for two days after the date of purchase. So ordering them through the mail is then the best option, if you are sure you want Classics and are not doubting about Fantasy or Dreams.

Additionally:
when you buy a new AP you can get an excisting AP to sponsor you - that means you get 10% discount on your purchase. That means you pay €161 for a Fantasy AP. The sponsor gets a stamp and with three stamps the sponsor gets an additional year of his or her AP for free.
About the BPA: inside the park you get the AP's from the Bureau Passeport Annuel. That is where the AP are issued. You can buy a ticket at the entrance, walk into the BPA and buy an AP there - then the cost of your ticket is subtracted from the price of the AP.

Just checked and they don't have any offers for child passes at the moment, which is unusual, but

I should have mentioned it was 4 adult tickets. That deal is pretty good for £117.50 I might just buy it off of them thanks for the help.

A&S&O

They will send you a paper ticket that lets you into the park. You then go to the passport office in the park and they will process the ticket, take your photo and print your actual AP.

Obvious advantages of a Fantasy Pass over Classic are Magic Hours, greater discounts, less blackout dates and free parking (although this isn't of use to you if you are flying).

Let me know how it goes. We go in July but only want one AP so I didn't know whether to buy there or use one of the online stores, a little nervous using them haha

Hi Zee79

We bought our AP from Super Trips for the adults and from Discount Ticket Store for the kids (they had an offer on at the time for a kids AP)

The Discount Ticket Store temporary passes came in a couple of days via registered post and the Super Trips via email ticket within the 10 days payment clearance window.
All seems above board and on the money.

Seems like they are the real deal, I'd go for it.

seraphelle

We got our AP's from Supertrips when they had a deal on the kids passes, and also a 10% off voucher code. It's always worth keeping one eye on the sites to see when the offers pop up as they can be a significant saving.

So if I purchase APs for my family (x5) , What is the process for booking Disney hotels without park tickets ? Can it be done online or do I have to ring Disney direct ?
Id like to be able to browse Disney hotels online at different dates etc rather than ringing for specific date prices .
