Does anyone know if you can do the cost of your entry ticket off the annual pass cost offer and the 10% pass holder offer together?

We are staying at the Adagio Access (was Citea), I didn't think the shuttle bus stopped any nearer?

Hi Guys, getting myself a little confused about all this annual passport thing, so im after your advice and experience. We are going to DLP on the 25th May for a week, there is a family of five of us, two adults, 3 kids aged 12, 11 and 9, we are also taking the in laws and they obviously have different surnames to us.

Now, I am looking at the fantasy annual passes....i believe as a family of 5, hope im getting all this right, get a 20% discount when buying the passes, but we cannot get the discount on the other two (the in laws) because they have a different surname.....am i about right so far??

Also, where would you buy the tickets from, disney when we get there or the other sites, i dont know their names but they are posted a few up from this one....can we do it before we go or best to do it when we are there.

I also believe we shall have to pay for the first day until we have our passes.....again, is this correcdt.

Im sorry for being vague and i hope im heading in the right direction, we are planning on more than one visit hence the annual passes...any advice would be greatly appreciated as we are total newbies to this.

How long in advance should one oprder the renewal forms? mine and my sister's passports will end at the 29th of this month, and it looks as we will not be able to make it to the parc before that. So we need to have the renewal forms sent to us.

you can renew up to one month in advance of the expiry date on your annual pass - so i'd get the forms now if I were you.

Does anyone happen to know the opening times of the passport bureau? (the one near Buzz)
I'm going beginning of June, to give discount to 4 people (and out of those 4, get 3 stamps for myself), but they won't arrive at the park untill 4pm.

Getting a bit scared now, the bureau might be closed already then?

the AP bureau doesn't close until at least 7pm every day.

I want to buy passes for my family when we go in sep, but i want to buy them in advance so that we can use them to get the hotel discount (£600 cheaper) which of course we need to book before hand.  Is this possible?
Thanks in advance :D

how many passes do you need to buy? Also, have you looked at booking just one adult and any free kids onto the hotel you're looking at on a package, then adding the others once you get there? That could be a cheaper way of doing it. How old are the children in your party, and how many adults in total?

Hi Elaine, thanks for your response.  We are or will be 7 in total, 2 adults, and 5 children, (aged 13, 8,4,2 and 6 weeks)  I know I don't need a pass for the youngest two, although i'm not sure if that'll change as my 2 yr old will turn 3 during the year while we have our passes.  My 8 yr old, and possibly the 4 yr old (currently being assessed) have autism, so from what i've read, I think I would pay for a pass for him/them, but we would get one adult carer free per child?  we will be staying at the Davy Crockett Ranch - it's nice for us to stay together rather than have to split into 2 rooms, and it's lovely being able to have brekkie together outside on a morning.  The original price i had for it was £1394, but when I priced the annual passes with the cabin booking using the discount, the price came in at £1000, unfortunately though the lady on the phone (from the disney contact number) couldn't tell me how to get the annual passes. Any advice would be very gratefully received.

okay - so you could buy APs for the 13-year old and 8 year old, and you would hopefully get free access for both of you parents as carers to the 8 year old and 4 year old (I'm afraid I know nothing about free carer tickets, I don't know how they work at all)? There is a definite advantage to buying 2 annual passes through promoparcs or cemultiavantages (fantasy passes will be fine as you are staying onsite, as blockout dates on the annual passes don't apply in your case). This is because, as well as being cheaper through those companies compared to Disney, you would get 2 kids fantasy annual passes free, which you can use for the 4-year old and nearly-3 year old.

The only problem with that is if Disney insist you have an annual pass number before booking the Davy Crockatt ranch, as you won't get the AP number until you have your permanent annual passes, which you get on your first day in the parks.

Did you look at the price for booking one adult and your 4, 2, and 6-week old into the DCR on a package? Would that be a better option for you, then you wouldn't need so many annual passes all at once?
eta - just did a quick quote - if you do it the way I suggest above with the one-adult and free kids package, it brings the Disney price down to £814 online.
Then you have one adult, 13-year old and 8-year old to add to the DCR when you arrive - absolutely no problem doing this, and theres no extra charge doing it this way.
If you are entitled to a free carer ticket every day with your 8-year old and 4-year old's tickets, then you can give your 13-year old the adult park tickets that come with the package, so you only have the 8-year old to buy an annual pass for. I'd do that through promoparcs or cemultiavantages so you get a free one that you can use for your 4-year old or nearly-3 year old.

There is another advantage to not buying all your annual passes at once too - if you do it the way I've described above with buying only one annual pass this time round, you can use that annual pass next time to sponsor up to 3 new annual pass purchases at DLP, getting 10% off the price of those annual passes, and getting 12 months free extension on the original bought annual pass (you can't do this with a free annual pass though, only one you have paid for).

When we went last year, we booked using APD discount at DCR without having to give out the APD number but were advised that we would have to produce the APD upon check-in. We simply bought temporary APD's from the window at the entrance then had them made up at the AP Bureau before we checked int DCR
