Ain't It Cool News has the new movie poster for the movie, featuring its main heroes Caspian, the four Pevenensie children, Aslan and the one character I'm really giddy about seeing on the big screen, Reepicheep...  (seen in the lower right corner) :D

There are a few new international posters floating around now, including this great black/white one of Prince Caspian:

The official site is worth a look too: http://disney.go.com/disneypictures/narnia/

I'm looking forward to it more than I was, although I can't help but feel releasing it just one week before Indy IV in the US is a bit suicidal. It's not out here till the end of June.

The French premiere of Prince Caspian will be at Gaumont Disney Village on June 20th! Apparently you might get to meet the stars in the parks on that day too:

You've got to watch the video there, if only to enjoy again how mindblowingly posh Peter and Susan are.

Nice to see this kind of DLRP tie-up.

Some good news about a splashy premiere, seems they're definitely trying to outdo the first film's Royal Albert Hall event:

Quote from: "BBC News"Caspian film to debut at O2 arena

The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian film will be premiered in London to an audience of 10,000.

For the first time the capital's O2 arena will be installed with a giant cinema screen. Disney have said the premiere will be the "biggest single screen, shared audience experience ever".

The movie, which stars Tilda Swinton and Liam Neeson and will be released in June, is the follow-up to the 2005 film The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe. Based on the best selling series of books by CS Lewis, the film took $750m worldwide.

Disney said the latest instalment of The Chronicles will be "bigger and more spectacular than ever before". The movie is also set to include more action scenes and visual effects.

Tickets for the premiere will go on sale to the public on 9 May and a donation of the cash made will go to Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity.

Meanwhile, the world premiere took place in New York on Wednesday night and featured stars from the cast including Ben Barnes who plays Prince Caspian.

Booking out the dome, that must be bloody expensive.

Damn you, I didn't want anyone else to know cause I am booking tickets (hopefully). :P Should be one amazing experience.

I also like the fact that the money will be going to charity too, nice touch.

Too bad the movie doesn't have an Imax release, many of Disney's movies like this one and Pirates 3 would've looked amazing in Imax :(

Yeah, Disney seem to have completely dumped that entire format after The Lion King flopped. :(

Well, Prince Caspian is out this week in the US and the reviews are starting to come in....

http://uk.rottentomatoes.com/m/chronicl ... e_caspian/

It's at 70% right now from 37 reviews. Pretty good, considering the trashing the critics gave the Pirates sequals and generally love to give to Disney this decade. I'd read a couple of negative early reviews, but maybe it's going to at least hold up to the first film after all.

And about that premiere at The O2 in London... Tickets range from £25.00 to £50.00!!! Not only is it the biggest cinema screening in the UK, also the most expensive. I guess it depends how much goes to charity out of that...

^The tickets are that much because its a film premiere. I have been offered premiere tickets for another film before which were over £100. Btw, I got two tickets for this premiere...cannot wait  :D/

I haven't actually read reviews yet, I don't think I want to, the first film was amazing and I think critics are going to go in expecting too much or be very harsh with what they say. Then again, I never wanted to read any reviews of Indy before I saw it, I failed at that the other day by reading 2!

Well i think the Lion King flopped because it was an big screen format and Imax exclusive. An Imax release next to the regular release would be better like the other big studios do.
