Hi everyone!
I'm new to this forum, I'm glad to meet everyone

I'm so happy that I finally found a thread about Jim Shore figurines, I recently got into collecting Disney Traditions sculptures ( I started collecting like a week ago), and I noticed that there are hardly any pictures or blogs about DT or Disney figurine collecting in general.
This topic must be the only place where people actually discuss these figurines which is a bit sad

Anyway, I looked through all replays and I adore everyone's pieces

I would like to share my humble collection now^^
Sadly I don't know how to upload photos here (can someone explain it to me?), so I'll just post links to my figurine pics on Flickr, I hope that's ok for now

I would like to share with you a little bit of information too. I contacted Gerald Massie who is working at Jim Shore's company. I asked him about future releases and figurines for Disney's upcoming movie 'Frozen'. Here's what he wrote back to me:
'Thank you for your interest in Jim Shore. Yes, Jim plans to add to his Disney Traditions collection. But I don't know about Frozen yet. Jim has only seen the trailers and hasn't really gotten into the characters yet. Jim will introduce several new pieces in 2013, including from the recent release Brave. You can see all the new releases at
www.jimshore.com. I hope that helps. Thanks again and have a great day.
'Seems like Shore is already taking Frozen characters under consideration, I hope he works something out for them, because those characters would look lovely in his folklore-ish style.

I also look forward to Merida figurines, can't wait to see what Jim has in store for her!
Oh, and by the way sorry for my English everyone, I'm from Sweden and English is not even my second language so my writing may seem a bit odd to you.
Kind Regards,
Anna
