I think it's a trade-off... Hong Kong also appears to get some really beautiful TV adverts, a great-looking website and its own YouTube channel. DLRP's publicity is just plain awful by comparison.

I'm not 100% sure, but last year i read somewhere that the fireworks have special effects, like the snow crystals transform to snowmen or something similar... i saw it on a video on youtube too... one with the 3D glasses and without the glasses!

hope somone know something more about it....

Actually it's an hologram viewer. The patterns are snowman, angel, snowflake, gingerbread man, etc.
