The new Annual Passport magazine "Envie de +" has just been released, featuring lots of cool info on SM:M2...

I might translate some of those (mainly the interview - though it doesn't look like there's much new info there) and give you a summary a bit later - will be good revision for my French exam!  :D

Quote from: "Baloo"Well.. not exactly.  It's Disneyland Resort in California I'm talking about, not WDW.

Oops   ,  *there seems to be even more wrong with me, then i already thought there was*

Anyway, thanks cheering me up again, we just have to wait and see. I'm still looking forward to that music.

Jorien  :D

Edit: thanks for the images of the Envie de + Magie magazine, it looks great! Can't read it, so if you want some practice for your French Exam.......

New Safety Video Download!

It looks SO much better than the old one.  I love the images of the columbiad to the right of the woman, and the shots of people on SM look quite good aswell - actually look like they weren't filmed in the mountain to be honest...

(Source: Coaster-Rider and Vivien on Disney Central Plaza forums)

It's definately a bit more Victorian aswell.  It must be hard to make a *video* Victorian, but there's definately a hint of it there.  The woman's appearance and costume in particular looks much more old fashioned and in-keeping with the ride.

On the subject of costumes - PLEASE let them have made new ones for the SM:M2 CMs!!!  :D

Safety Video with Sound

Here it is, only in french though:

I'm not sure why it looks badly dubbed - maybe the audio and video are out of sync in that recording?  I doubt it's really out of sync, they'd never leave something so obviously out of sync like that...

Thank you for the link!!! It does look good. About the badly dubbed, i think it has something to do with changing the format of the video. It happens sometimes when you do that, the audio won't be exactly where it should be. (surprised? A girl who knows something like this? haha)

Billboard in Paris

This is the coolest thing I have EVER seen:

//http://kyoto.free.fr/smm2%20005.JPG

Imagine living opposite that!  DLRP are doing one hell of an amazing advertising job with this!  It's just a shame they don't seem to be bothering with it in the UK just yet...

     WOW!!!!!        =D>

(can't say anything else) The only thing i directly thought is that i'm glad that i didn't discover it on my way. Because i would have stepped immediatly on the break of the car, without watching if there were cars behind me.

Well just what I was going to say that really is one hell of a billboard, I want to live there  .  God just think if they did that much advertising here in the UK maybe just maybe coaster enhusiasts may get more bothered about this than stupid Rita:Queen of Speed coming to Alton Towers 6 days before Space Mountain Mission 2 opens  .  Woohoo I can't wait for this to come, I want it to be now :D .  Oh well just about 10 days now till Space Mountain Mission 2 launches I say bring it on, this will be the best thing to happen to Disneyland Park within a decade and no doubt nothing too special will happen for the opening.

You can find another video of the ride testing here:

  //http://pozzi.jeanpierre.club.fr/dlrpmag/smmike.wmv
(Source: M!ke, DLRP Magazine Forums)

I think they must have been particularly testing the smoke there, since it's being released even when no train is being launched, which I doubt it will do when the ride is complete.

And also today, there's more work going on in the queue area of the ride, as reported by DLRP Magazine:

Barriers on the side of the bridge being repainted light yellow:

New railings inside the main queueline, probably to keep the queue into more of a single file to help organise it a bit more:

And finally, they're putting the frame back around the poster:

Wow, what a great pictures you've posted here. I like the one of the plan too. I've never been on Space Mountain, but i still would like to try it sometime, especially after seeing all this great material. I only hope i won't get sick.

You've never been on it?!  Don't let Patrick read that, or he'll go crazy... he was just overusing the word "god!" before when I told him I didn't go on Indy till last year...

I'm very glad we've got some good reporters over on the French forums though - this whole "new"-attraction-opening business would be much harder to get through without them and their wonderful proximity to the resort.  :D

Yes indeed, but the thing is i can't read French, so it's a bit hard to find out what they are talking about. But i guess you'll post it here, so finally i don't miss a thing at all.
