Breakdown of buffets - can you share your knowledge?
« on: February 26, 2019, 08:07:01 AM »
I’ve been to DLP many times but because I have fussy kids I tend to stick to the same places where I know they will eat!
However, now they’re older we want to try some new restaurants and figured buffets would be out best bet.

2 of us are veggie, so although a lot of them sound awesome, if we get there and its all meat then we’ve paid a lot for a little if you see what I mean?

We’ve done Inventions, Cape Cod and Agrabah Cafe and love them. But can anyone tell me about the others? There is some information out there but it’s very vague and doesn’t advise on the amount of veggie options or even if there is one in some cases. For example, the tex mex buffet at La Grange sounds lovely, but will it be all meat? I’d be happy with a bowl of veggie chill and nachos but there’s no information on it.

I’ve bookmarked all the restaurant online booking pages and am itching to get booked up  :)

Thanks in advance x

In addition to the ones mentioned by you, Restaurant des Stars is a good bet. The atmosphere can be a bit lack lustre but as good a selection of food in other buffets with the addition of an ice cream machine which my kids love x

We love the grange at Billy bobs. By far for us the best buffet, I am vegetarian and my wife is vegan, and we both left there stuffed. A great salad bar, make your own wraps, so lots of beans, Mexican vegetables, nachos, guacamole.

For us as veggies it is buffets all the way!
