Pre-trip report March 18-20

I'm so exited! Our last visit to Disneyland was almost 3 years ago and we finally booked our next trip!
A lot has changed since 2015... We bought a house and had a baby, so we didn't have a lot of money and time for a trip. Now, our little girl is not so little anymore and we're finally able to visit one of our favorite places in the world again!
We booked a trip in March. For the first time we will be staying at the Newport Bay club hotel (we've stayed at Cheyenne, Santa Fe and some partner hotels before) and we are very exited.
I'm looking forward to seeing our little girls reaction. She'll be almost 17 months by then. But I'm also exited to see what has changed, to go on my favorite ride (Tower of Terror!), hear the music, see the beautiful castle and look at the parades.
Actually, I'm exited for everything!

Thank you! I hope you'll have a wonderful time too!
How old was your little one when you went the first time?

He was 4, I'd opened a savings account before he was born and said the March after he turned 4 I would take him. And I did! Then the August after we got back I couldn't take it anymore and booked to go this March (much more intense saving!)
It's going to be a complete surprise this time though - I'm not going to tell him until the day we are travelling!
It's good you've started earlier than I did with your little one as you will be able to get more trips in before school starts. This will probably be the only time I get away with taking mine out of school during term time.

Well, I'm not sure how our girl will react. She's still very young of course.. But we'll see. We are going to take it easy, and I'm ure she'll like it. She probably won't remember anything, but we will have pictures. ;-)
Your son will be so exiting when he find out you're going to Disneyland! Must be difficult to keep it a secret.. Don't know if I could do that!

Took my eldest when she was 18months and she loved it! Been going ever since (she now 15). My youngest first went when she was 9 months and her character interaction was brilliant. She is a huge Disney fan now (age 11). My niece's were 10months old. The memories you get is amazing - in your memory, pictures and in recordings. I rewatch our trips and usually cry haha

That's amazing! Being able to visit Disneyland with such a young children. I hope our girl will like it too! I showed her a video of the parade and she really liked that. She was pointing at the screen the whole time.

We're leaving tomorrow morning! I'm so excited, I hope I'll be able to sleep! My little girl will probably wake up really early, so we'll leave early too.
