Wow excellent news! I know his narration was short lived, how long has it been?

EDIT: Here's Tom Fitzgerald discussing the attraction..

Ok, so I'm literally jumping up and down right now. My biggest wish will be granted: the original spiel by horror legend Vincent Price IS COMING BACK!!! Tom Fitzgerald has also confirmed they are bringing the latest technology to the ride and also it will finally be revealed who the Phantom is!

I'm not sure it's the WHOLE spiel from Vincent Price from the way it was worded but it's very exciting to hear any of it back!

So, I have this crazy theory... Tom Fitzgerald said they have found a way to bring back Vincent Price's spiel, incorporate new effects to the existing story and reveal who the Phantom is. Wouldn't it be amazing if they have created a Henry Ravenswood animatronic that looks like Vincent Price and which transforms magically into the Phantom? Now, that would be awesome!!!

I've just discovered the infamous Hatbox Ghost and would definitely like to see him move into the Manor at some time. Maybe (like the Haunted Mansion) he could turn out to be Melanie's groom?? Just a thought.

I, too, would love to see DLP's mansion receive the Nightmare Before Christmas theme. The meet and greet with Jack both at Halloween and Christmas is always so popular it would be great to see him incorporated into something else. I do not think it should be a permanent thing though - probably just in the run up to Christmas would be good. Again, just a thought.

Cannot wait to see what has been done to the Manor and hope it has not been spoilt as it is certainly one of my favourite attractions.

Okay, so I just read that the PM isn't oreopening untill early 2019. What is true of this? I just booked a trip for november 14th....

loladelorean

So excited by these latest updates, especially the video from Tom Fitzgerald, thanks so much for sharing.
The official Disneyland Paris site now says PM is closed until January 2019- I'll be sorry not to see it in November, and not sure when I'll next be back, but it seems it will be worth the wait.

A new update from ED92 on Twitter reveals more and more of the exterior. It also clearly shows a new queue, most likely to be used for FastPass (FastPass was tested at Phantom Manor prior to the refurb).

If so they're obviously expecting it to be a lot more popular after the refurb because I don't ever remember feeling the need for a fastpass there (although admittedly I do try to be smart about doing rides at the 'right' time),

Popularity might not be the main reason for adding FastPass. Adding FastPass to more attractions adds to a better crowd control. They've proven this at WDW when they added FastPass to pretty much every attraction in favor of FastPass+.

It's not a rumour as it's already been confirmed by Tom Fitzgerald.  ;)

Then I'm even more determined to get back there next year (March/April time probs). Woohoo!

This would sort of make sense... If they do a holiday overlay, it would then reopen as Phantom Manor in early 2019.

If they've done a whole refurb of the attraction, it would seem stupid not to make arrangements for an overlay, given the popularity in CA and Tokyo.
