Rooms for 5?

Apart from Davy Crocket, are there any other Disney hotels that sleep 5?

Also, can you still book a room for a non AP holder, then add the AP holders on arrival? If so, can you do that even if you don't book direct with DLP?

thanks everyone

Newport Bay do rooms for 5.

And yes, an AP-holder can also be added to non-DLP-bookings.

Yes, Newport Bay and Disneyland Hotel.  A massive gap in the market for budget Disney accommodation on site for families of 5.  Someone needs to tell them that not everybody has 2 kids!!

Santa fe has a limited number too. Xx

The Santa Fe thing really annoys me because yes, they do have a few family rooms but they're not eligible for any discount.  So whatever offer is on such as free half board or 2 free days/nights etc, you can't have that offer if you want a Santa Fe family room.  You can only book one by paying full price which whenever I've had a quote for, is very expensive.   Lord knows why but it really gets on my nerves that the only budget option for families of 5 is Davy Crockett.

Of course you can stay at a partner hotel, many of which have rooms for 5. We've used them for years  ;)

I'm assuming you don't get park tickets with partner hotels? Also can't add AP holders and just pay Tourist Tax?

We would be a party of five. 3x Dream Pass holders and 2x non AP holders. Just trying to work out the cheapest option for a stay next Spring Bank holiday.
Either pay for the 2 non AP holders and add the AP holders on to the room. Or pay for 2 non AP holders , plus 1 AP holder (triggering discount), then add the other 2 AP holders on to the booking.

Thanks everyone for your help so far.

Partner hotels can offer tickets, my friend has just been pricing it up. I think her offer through the co-op for June next year was  just over £1800 for explorers, that was hotel, tickets & flights, family of 5 - 2ad 2x 8yr old & 1x 3yr old

can you book two rooms (for one person) with 1 non AP holder in each room and ask for connecting rooms? Might be slightly pricier but everyone would have plenty of space. We have done that at Santa Fe.

1A and 1C at Davy Crocket (including park tickets) = £704
1A at Santa Fe (including park tickets) = £658 x2 = £1316

Looks like Davy Crocket it is.

Can we book 2A and 1C (using AP discount, 1A having an AP) , would the two non AP holders receive park tickets?
We would then add 1A and 1C (both AP holders) on arrival.

Can we combine AP discount with "pay 2 nights, get 2 nights free" offer?

Just wondering if there was a particular reason that you don't just book offsite and buy annual passes? Is there much of a difference once you add in the cost of breakfast?

Explorers have rooms for 5. You would all get brekkie plus there is a pool. If there are only 2 non AP would you not be able to buy passes for them using the parrianage or shareholder discount?

The 2 non AP holders won't be revisiting in the near future.

Explorers hotel for 5 is £858, plus 2x £140 for tickets (with no MH) totals out at £1138. Davy Crocket wins at £704.

We are a family of 5 and at first we had 2 connecting rooms in cheynne which was ok although expensive for 2 star hotel. However our last 2 trips we have stayed in Newport family room this is normally a much better price if you phone rather than online for some reason, I think the last 2 have been around £1100 out of season we don't go during holidays. We have used Disneyland Paris and magic breaks who we have just booked a trip for next year through at a cost £1400 for 4 night 5 days this is compass room as it includes breakfast and now you have to pay for breakfast it made sense plus a few extra perks. Hope that helps I am new to this forum.
