Hi could anyone clarify this for me please. I was told I would get a voucher each per night but could only use the 24th one for lunch. I have now read on another forum that you cant and don't even get issued a voucher for that day. Also on Walt Disney travel company it states you cant use them at all that day. I have checked my confirmation and it does state I will receive one each per night. Just wanted to be clear about it and take enough money if we are a voucher down. Thanks.

You are issued one meal plan voucher (or two for full board) for each night of your stay.

They are not valid on Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve.

Ok thank you. Will make other plans then and save vouchers for last day. Do you know what sequoia is like xmas eve?

Unfortunately never stayed Christmas eve but when we went last New Year we were able to use our voucher on the lunchtime but not the evening.

I have just called them and you can use the vouchers at lunch time on Chistmas Eve but not in the evening. Now to decide where to eat Christmas Eve. I suppose the only places with characters and santa will be in the evening?

From what I remember. I think that all the hotel and park restaurant are serving special diners and buffets on christmas eve.
If you don't want to spend the cash (and omg! i can imagine why €€€€€). You'll have to settle for the restaurants in the village.
But be aware. They will be very busy with locals and tourists.

I have had sooooooooooooooo many different answers to this one over several different conversations with the restaurant booking line and online chat.

When booking via the Dutch website, it clearly states in the terms and conditions for the half board offer, that the vouchers are valid at lunch time for Christmas Eve/New Year's Eve.  When I called reservations line on two separate occasions, they told me I could use the voucher for dinner in Café Mickey on the evening - I'm not holding out hope on this one - but I have reserved a table for the evening and we can sort it out when we get there.  But as per the terms and conditions on the Dutch page ;D with the promo offer, we should at least get a lunchtime meal included in the voucher options.  We shall see!!!!

I am under the impression that if half board you don't even get a voucher for Christmas eve
First visit to DLP but stayed in Paris in 1993 just after DLP opened - aged 10!!

Cheyenne 13-17 Dec 2012 - amazing time for my sons 3rd birthday

Santa Fe 12-16 Feb 2014 - truly magical, Valentines meal overlooking the fireworks at the DLP hotel ... PERFECT!

Newport Bay 23-27 Dec 2015 - I only went and got engaged ON CHRISTMAS DAY IN DISNEYLAND ❤❤❤ 1st in the park on Boxing Day too ... amazeballs

Sarah, when I booked online, the terms & conditions for the free half board offer stated that the vouchers were only valid for lunch on 24th & 31st December.  Was there in black and white.  But like you - I've heard so many different things lol!!!  I've printed the page out, so will take that with me.

We've booked a table for Christmas Eve Dinner at Café Mickey as the prices are 'normal'.  We shall see!

We too are staying in Newport - 21st to 27th December!  Yippee - our first time at Disney! ;D ;D

See I booked almost 11 months ago.  I'll have a look on my documents!! Are you excited? Can't believe how quickly it's coming around

I am soooooooooooooooooooooooo excited!!!  I went to Orlando about 24yrs ago!!!!  :o  But we've never been to Disneyland Paris - was kind of a 'last minute' booking at the end of the summer.  We were going to stay off park etc etc etc, but then ended up cancelling our original hotel and booking Newport!

I honestly cannot wait!!  DH is working 6 days per week at the mo, so really needs a break and we have recently discovered how lovely it is to be away together as a family during the holidays, without the pressures of cooking 4/5 different Christmas dinners for different sectors of the family!

I don't think the kids really have any concept of what to expect....but I can't wait to see DS2's face when we get there - he is 7yrs and as we live in Cornwall, he's never really been exposed to anything 'themed' on any kind of large scale.

So, three weeks tomorrow we fly!   ;D ;D ;D ;D

Im still confused lol. Was going to book the Sequoia for Christmas Eve Dinner but looks like its fully booked, I just went on live chat and asked if I can use the meal plan vouchers at all that night and was told no - only lunchtime. Really don't know what to do now!

It has been confirmed by someone in Disney at the moment who asked the specific question, that if you booked the food option at time of booking, you WILL receive a voucher for lunch on Christmas Eve, however, you won't if it is an add on meal plan package.

We have Café Mickey booked for the evening meal on Christmas Eve, so think we'll book for Café Agrabah for lunch maybes - just to grab a little bite, but we want to eat out at a restaurant for the evening x

Im thinking maybe Café Mickey for Christmas Eve lunch now so that I can use my vouchers. Although ive seen some awful reviews but you have to try things for yourself x
