Share price just bombed by 20%, down to about 2.73.

A good time for new investors to buy thier 100 shares to become members of the shareholders club.

Current members look like they'll have the opportunity buy more shares at 1 or 1.25 euros sometime next year.

Depends what country you're in. In the UK, the Halifax seems to be the easiest place to buy DLP shares.

Lots of information on DLP shares / shareholders club at this thread -

DLP shares are starting to recover, now back to 3.30.

I'm considering it now, but what do you get as being part of "the club" ? Is it even worth doing if I can't get to the park very often?

This is what you get: http://corporate.disneylandparis.com/shareholders/shareholders-club/index.xhtml#contentj
What it's worth is up to you, but you get several discounts.
4 trips to DLP, 3 to WDW, 1 to Disneyland California

Rocketeer

Thanks. Looking at that, you'd have to visit the park often to really get any benefit.

Or shop in the disney store lots. We normally only go once a year and still thinks it's worth it.

By buying shares, you're not actually SPENDING your money, your INVESTING it. Depending on share price, you may well get your money back when you sell your shares - after getting discounts as member of the Shareholders Club.

Of course, the share price may well go down.

Isn't that 1 euro offer for existing share holders only?

I read briefly about the one euro shares - we're already shareholders (not very many, hoping to get more) has it been announced anywhere how we would go about getting 1 euro shares? Or is it just for major shareholders with thousands of them already?

Esti

I don't really understand much about how this works, but I think they explained it pretty well in one of Dedicated to DLP's podcast:
