Preloaded debit cards. Anyone used Post Office one?

That's exactly what we do! :) - By the time we go away, we generally don't need money for anything

I use an Ice prepaid card for Euros. They send a backup card at the same time as the normal one in case you lose the normal one and the back up card is free. Also they don't charge if you withdraw Euros from an ATM.
