According to a tweet a few hours ago by @Disney_ParisEN, Disney and Finergy, a real estate company, have agreed to build 2 new hotels in Bailly-Romainvilliers/Serris/Val D'Europe.

According to a few articles, building works will commence in Q2 2013 for a 3* 154 room hotel, for opening in mid 2015, and Q1 2014 for a 2* 96 room hotel, for opening in Q1 2016.

The deal is supposedly with €40 million.

All looks very interesting!

Edit: Having had a search of the forum, as I could remember some mention of a new hotel or two in Val D'Europe, as there is a mention of Serris, perhaps this is related to this thread: viewtopic.php?f=3&t=10747. I feel that there is a plan somewhere on the forum that also may help, but can't find it at the moment!

Am I the only one who's thinking: "why would they be adding new rooms unless they're expecting a significant increase in need by 2016?"

Major WDSP expansion anyone?

DLRP Roundup!

It's not on resort, its in the business park slightly south, so not sure they'd use it for Disney.
