It looks to me like it was part of one of the old New Years displays, where they would mix music that was popular that year into a soundtrack instead of the usual Disney music.

I'd agree, though it is definitely recent - take a look at the blue lights on the castle - those are the new LEDS for the Christmas Castle Lighting Show.

It's probably from a private event. As Christmas approaches plenty of companies rent the park for an evening.

when we were there in September there was fireworks a few times after the park had closed we also guessed it was just for private events! Why can't we work for some one where they take you to a private Disneyland Paris event for the christmas party!:)
