Poll : Disney Official Fan club

Dear all,

I would like you to answer this poll as it will help me tremendously in a business project that i am doing on DLRP. Moreover the price of subscription to this fan club would be of 45 euros approx. 40 pounds. The possible offer for the fans could be :

-Exclusive events (backstage tours, movie preview...)

-Special fastpass for the park

-Dedicated Magazine with special interviews

-Welcome present like a tshirt

-Fan assembly’s

-A dedicated web site, news and updates about the resort

-Dedicated auction of special Disney objects

-Meeting Disney stars

-A contest with Night in sleeping beauty's castle as a prize

-A special dinner in Haunted Mannor

From what I was told by the project manager the idea of launching such a club is very feasible but they are concerned to the success of such a club here in Europe and to the amount of people it could attract. Remembering that in America the first themed park has been opened for 55 years now and Disneyland Paris for only 18. But who knows this may surprise us all for the 20th anniversary.

Yes, but not for £40. Maybe £30 and there would need to be - at the very least - 4 magazines a year and some nice exclusive offers.

I agree with you but Disney has to cover some costs and I don't think you will just receive a magazine but also special invites to shows premieres and other goodies. I do believe that if this is successful they will most likely offer different membership cards at different prices.

That was the minimum I expected. Invited to shows etc. should be part of it too. But living seas away (Channel and Irish Sea), invites would be almost useless for me as a 'member'

You’re right I think that's the biggest difficulty for Disney   as Europe is so vast and may not be profitable for those who live the furthest away from the resort.  But as the French saying goes «quand on aime on ne compte pas! ».

I think this is a good idea, but would perfer if it was endorsed by Disney like D23 is.

I'd probably find it hard to resist but not a great deal of what is on offer would interest me. The magazine however, as long as it had some exclusive content, would be very appealing.
