I didn't want to open a new topic, so I decided to post this here.

Screamscape.com posted that McDonalds is closing at Downtown Disney at WDW, but they didn't mention the other McDs on property.
So do you think that this will happen to the McD in DV too? I wouldn't mind if it will close, because I'm not a big fan of McDonalds or Burger King. I just don't like their food.

This is the second time in a month that someone mentions McDonald's in Disney Village closing. I don't see how McDonald's would want to close what is probably their second most lucrative French restaurant after the Champs-Elysées location.

But then again it comes as a surprise that the Downtown Disney location is closing. Does anyone know why that is? Did some contract end or something?

I also can't understand why McD should close the restaurant at DV, but McD at DTD is closing and I'm sure that the restaurant over there is also very successful. At least it was always very crowded when we have been to WDW.

Maybe another contract with Disney is expiring? At first they had to leave the themeparks and maybe now they have to leave Disney property.
